Words, Wonder,

and the Divine in You

“Awe is more than an emotion; it is a way of understanding, insight into a meaning greater than ourselves. The beginning of awe is wonder, and the beginning of wisdom is awe.”
—Abraham Joshua Heschel

Muddy Buddhas -

looking at the Divine within…

True story:

There is a solid gold Buddha in Bangkok, Thailand, that remained hidden for hundreds of years - covered in mud and clay and pieces of broken glass. During an attempt to move it in the mid-20th century, the truth was unveiled. Underneath layers of ordinary earthen camouflage lay a precious treasure: a solid gold Buddha.

You are like that Buddha. You are precious. You are a treasure. Layers of other people’s expectations and unfulfilled dreams cover over the glory of your divine essence and innate goodness.

Breathe into who you truly are - and who you were created to be all along.

Deep down: we are all just muddy buddhas…

Read my book, share it, get a group together and invite me to come hear your stories of God-winks and divine moments.

We are all just a bunch of Muddy Buddhas - show us your gold within!
